Communication is a huge contributed part into winning a battle. Radios can be a big help on the field and something I would HIGHLY suggest getting! Radios can provide the element of timing which can help in a double front attack or surrounding. Radios can also provide communication from home bases to men in the field on what they see and what needs to be done. Radios can help us from people getting lost on huge fields. Radios* can be purchased as a pair for about $20 at Meijers, K-Mart, ect. So grab a partner and both pitch in half and get one for yourself!
*Radios that we use on the battle field are 22-channel _________________ I will never forget about John.

Yeah,
I always use walky talkies when I play and they are really usefull!!
When you don't know where half of your team is it can be a life saver. Radio's can definitely be one of the most important parts of your gear. You need a way to communicate with your team if you need back-up or if you want to know what is going on. Radio's are an important part of your gear. _________________ - Chass Bakker -

Seems like it would be better if everyone had a cell phone. You could contact individual people, higher quality communication, and better signal. _________________ Eric B.

That is a good idea but it has many cons to the idea of using cell phones on the battlefield. Some people dont have them and cant get them, minutes can become a problem between the different services, we live in the boonies and some cant get a connection, and radios provide instant communication amongst the WHOLE team not just one individual.
Although cells can be used to have direct and contact at all times with a headset between a Field Commander and a Base Commander!!! _________________ I will never forget about John.

if we had all had radios with headsets that would be sweet..! we could be like Ghost Recon Advance Warfighter guys lol... plus it would alow us to talk to each other without talking loud enough for the other team to hear us _________________ -₪ ₤ ι ¬ß σ ₪- |

Speaking of radios I found the coolest thing in my grandfather's basement! Best of all they still work like a charm. Old WWII Radios. Like the BIG ass kind. I can't wait for someone to host a WWII re-enactment because until then I don't really have a chance to use them. Anyway...
Ya, radios are one of the most important things when it comes to tactics and strategy. If I had to choose between a Secondary weapon and a radio I would probably pick the radio! Definitely get some!!! |

1st immortal requires most members to have radios and they really help out with objectives and knowing where the whole team is.
2nd those WWII hand sets are set to a certain freq. and wont work with modern radios. Also they are worth about 400 to 1000 dollars on their condition and i personally would take them out to an airsoft game and just let people mess with them. they have a tendency of acting up and are really hard to carry.
Go ahead and do what you want with them but you know the opinion of a WWII reenactor and vehicle owner _________________ ~Banished from hell, denied from heaven, Glory of the Immortal few~
